I've had this on the coop a couple months now and have had no issues. In my search to find the right door, I think this one showed the best value for the money. From what I saw on other products, they have more features but seem to be less reliable. If you just need a reliable door that opens and closes when you want it to, I would recommend this. I haven't had any issues with chickens getting pinched or pinned down. 2025-14-01

We tested this door in the house for a few days before installing to make sure it worked as it was supposed to. It opens and closed exactly as it should. I feel the build quality is sturdy. The door is convenient, and i feel it is worth the price. 12-01-2024

Rise and shine! This unit is definitely something we need for our chickens because though we don't have a Rooster this year to say 'RISE AND SHINE" to the hens, this door works PERFECTLY for that function! I played around with it a big and it works just as it says in the description! Though it's not a big deal to me, when I set it for it's opening time at 6:am and then it's closing time at 6:pm, I had to switch in my mind to military time, so keep that in mind. So my closing time was set to 18:00 hrs or 6:00 pm. 12-17-2024
